Elaine is a Chartered Accountant who began her career in the EY Forensic Accounting Practise. In 2009, she joined a leading international insurance broker's specialised claims division, where she ultimately headed the Business Interruption division. In 2018, Elaine founded her consultancy, now CSF Consulting, to support brokers, insureds, and insurers, with Business Interruption claim formulation and negotiation, pre-loss reviews, broker training workshops, Commercial Crime claims, and Professional Indemnity matters.

Taryn Forsyth
Johannesburg, South Africa
Taryn is a Chartered Accountant who completed her articles at KPMG in 2009. She joined their Forensic practice before moving to the Forensic Accounting division of a leading international insurance broker, later co-heading its Business Interruption division. In 2018, Taryn joined RSM South Africa's Risk Advisory department progressing to Divisional Director in 2020. She co-founded CSF Consulting in 2023 and specialises in pre- and post-loss Business Interruption matters, technical training workshops, and Commercial Crime claims.

Kelly Smith

Kelly holds a Bcom (Hons) in Risk Management and Insurance as well as an LLB. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in claims preparation and adjusting, policy advocacy, and pre-loss reviews across numerous industries, specialising in both Business Interruption and Liability insurance.In 2021, Kelly joined the practice, now known as CSF Consulting, to advise brokers, insured, and insurers on complex pre- and post-loss Business Interruption matters.
